February PR and Marketing Events in Colorado

Even though it’s the shortest month of the year, February has a diverse set of events from Denver Press Club, AMA Colorado, PRSA Colorado and General Assembly Denver.

Denver Press Club

Become more acquainted with Colorado’s smaller newspapers at Denver Press Club’s panel “Small Newspapers Making Big News.” Great Park Hill News, Front Porch Northeast Denver, Denver Urban Spectrum and Canyon Courier will all be represented. The panel will discuss how community newspapers survive – and even thrive – in today’s challenging media environment. The free event will be held at Denver Press Club at Feb. 8.

AMA Colorado

AMA Colorado

Get to know other area marketers better at AMA Colorado’s monthly mixer. The industry mixer for will be held at Feb. 15 at Workability, a new co-working space in Capitol Hill. The event is free for AMA members and $10 for nonmembers.

PRSA Colorado

If you’re involved with internal/employee communications, PRSA is hosting a great roundtable discussion for you. The discussion will cover current trends, issues affecting employee communications and the best tools to reach a dispersed workforce. The event will be held at Molson Coors Brewing Company on Feb. 22. Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers.

General Assembly Denver

General Assembly’s “Finding Your Inspiration Through Creative Confidence” aims to breakdown the stereotype that the world is divided into “creatives” and “non-creatives.” The workshop will help attendees eliminate their fears of judgement and failure to let ideas fly – perfect for the PR professional looking to become more creative. Panelists include coders, UX design consultants, corporate brand strategists and more.

The panel will discuss

  • Homing in on your idea and streamlining your process
  • The importance of taking time for yourself so that you can serve others
  • Good Risks vs. Bad Risks
  • Aligning yourself with the right people / trusting your gut

The free event will be held at General Assembly on Feb. 6.

See everyone this month!
