We are excited to announce that MYPR has been selected to represent the new Joie de Vivre hotel in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., which is scheduled to open mid-December. Our boutique Colorado agency now represents two properties in the Lake Tahoe basin; MYPR has worked with Resort at Squaw Creek, A Destination Hotel, at the base of Squaw Valley for nearly five years.

is going through a complete renovation and repositioning. The new property, to be renamed in mid-October, merges two adjacent hotels and will reopen in mid-December as a new, vibrant 167-room hotel. The boutique property will have an authentic sense of place, reflecting the mountain lifestyle of the Lake Tahoe basin with modern, rustic details and artful touches. Conveniently located across the street from Heavenly for more than 4,800 acres of world-class skiing and a short walk from the crystal clear blue water of Lake Tahoe, the hotel is positioned for ease of access to the outdoor pursuits in the area.
Guest rooms will reflect a warm, sense of home with signature artwork, reclaimed wood, handcrafted architectural details such as barn doors and luxurious Tempur-Pedic beds. Public spaces will be designed to welcome both overnight guests and the local community. Outdoor gaming areas and firepits are being created for a relaxed, social setting. The restaurant will feature meats and produce from local farms, communal tables and outdoor seating. The property will offer 968 square feet of group and meetings space with multi-functional breakout rooms.
