Kristin Yantis, principal of Malen Yantis Public Relations, recently announced that 
Melissa Delekta has been hired as an account coordinator for the agency.
“We are excited for the addition of Melissa to our team,” Yantis said. “She brings a variety of skills to MYPR that will allow her to immediately jump in and start servicing a number of our travel and tourism clients.”
Delekta joins MYPR directly from Michigan State University where she recently graduated with a degree in journalism. While studying at MSU, Delekta developed her public relations skills outside of the classroom. She worked as a governmental affairs intern for the university, a communications assistant for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority and as a social media intern for Meridian Township. Delekta also volunteered at Susan G. Komen Mid Michigan to promote and organize their Race for the Cure and Ride for the Cure events.
Delekta recently relocated to Colorado where she’ll work in the agency’s Vail office. She is looking forward to exploring Colorado and becoming a part of the Vail community.
