Malen Yantis Public Relations recently had two clients named to Travel + Leisure’s prestigious “10 Best Resort Hotels in the West,” The Sebastian – Vail and Salishan Spa & Golf Resort.
The Sebastian – Vail, a boutique hotel located in the heart of Vail Village, was heralded by T+L for its appeal to winter-sports lovers. MYPR develops campaigns to engage key stakeholders and support real estate sales for The Sebastian – Vail. The Sebastian is no stranger to T+L recognition. The resort was named as the 52nd best hotel in the world in 2015 and was named as one of the best resorts in the Continental U.S. in 2014 and 2015 by the magazine.
Since 2016, MYPR has provided public relations services to Oregon’s Salishan Spa and Golf Resort, located two and a half hours south of Portland along the central Oregon Coast. MYPR recently supported the opening of Salishan’s new restaurant Samphire. This summer, MYPR hosted a press trip to support the new restaurant. The trip made Samphire’s coastal range cuisine concept come to life. Salishan Spa & Golf Resort was cited by T+L as highly attractive to summer travelers who prefer relaxation. Salishan Spa & Golf Resort was also recently named as a top three resort in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest by Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader Choice Awards.
The Best of the West is part of T+L’s annual “World’s Best Awards Survey,” in which readers weigh in on top hotels, restaurants, airlines and other travel experiences. According to T+L, hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. Hotels were classified as City or Resort based on their locations and amenities.
